Refreshing DIY Summer Drinks to Help You Burn Extra Belly Fat

Lemon & Ginger Detox Water  

Ingredients: 1 sliced lemon, 1 inch grated ginger, and 1-2 litres of water.  

Combine the ingredients in a pitcher and refrigerate overnight.Drink this detox water throughout the day to improve digestion, increase metabolism, and minimise tummy bloating.  

Green Tea and Mint Cooler  

Ingredients: 1 green tea bag, fresh mint leaves, 1 tablespoon honey (optional), and ice cubes  

Steep the green tea bag in hot water for a few minutes, then allow to cool. In a glass, muddle a few mint leaves before adding the brewed green tea, honey (if using), and ice cubes.  

Cucumber and Aloe Vera Refresher

1 sliced cucumber, 2 teaspoons of fresh aloe vera gel. Juice of one lime Water with Ice cubes  

Smoothly blend cucumber slices, aloe vera gel, lime juice, and water. Strain pulp from mixture. This hydrating, detoxifying drink assists weight loss and bright skin when served over ice.  

Watermelon-Basil Smoothie  

2 cups cubed fresh watermelon A handful of fresh basil leaves, 1 tablespoon chia seeds, Coconut or plain water, Ice cubes

Blend watermelon, basil, chia seeds, and coconut water (or water) until smooth. Serve this low-calorie, nutrient-rich smoothie over ice to control cravings and increase metabolism.
