Elite Chill-Resistant Dog Breeds

Dogs are bred for a variety of tasks and settings, including working in cold weather, by their human counterparts. However, certain dog breeds have naturally evolved to be able to withstand the cold

You're in luck if you enjoy living in chilly environments. Researchers from Germany discovered that exposure to temperatures that are just below freezing can extend a person's lifespan and reduce their risk of developing age-related disorders

This is due to the fact that the cold stops the proteins in your body from clumping together, which is a state that is connected with neurological disorders such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Alzheimer's disease,

The researchers discovered that a decrease in temperature increased the activity of a cellular process that eliminates damaged proteins from cells. This mechanism works when cells are exposed to colder temperatures.

On a simpler level, a group of experts from around the world discovered that lower temperatures — sometimes known as "keeping cool" — prevented a shorter lifespan in rats.

As a result of their findings, the researchers were inspired to coin the saying "live cold, die old." According to Zhao Zhijun of Wenzhou University

We are excited about the findings, particularly that using small fans to blow air over the animals reversed the effect of high ambient temperature on lifespan by decreasing body temperature
