Croissant French Toast Bake

Croissant French Toast Bake is a delightful and indulgent dish that combines the buttery goodness of croissants with the rich flavors of French toast. Here's a recipe to make this mouthwatering treat

– 6 large croissants, preferably a day old – 4 egg – 1 cup milk – 1/4 cup heavy cream – 1/4 cup granulated sugar – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Pinch of salt 1/2 cup maple syrup Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional) Fresh berries, for garnish (optional)

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray. Cut the croissants into cubes and spread them evenly in the prepared baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until well combined.

Pour the egg mixture over the croissant cubes in the baking dish, ensuring that all the croissant pieces are evenly coated. Gently press down on the croissants to help them absorb the egg mixture

Let the croissant mixture sit for about 15-20 minutes, allowing the croissants to soak up the egg mixture. Drizzle the maple syrup evenly over the top of the croissant mixture.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set. Remove the Croissant French Toast Bake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
