Cherry-Berry Smoothie Bowl

This bowl of cherry berry smoothie is a delightful combination of sweet and sour flavors!   

Chia seeds, cherries, and blueberries all contribute to the high levels of fiber and antioxidants that are found in this dish.  

Get your day started off right with this vivacious, nutritious, and vegan smoothie! Among the many things I enjoy eating for breakfast,   

one of my favorites is a smoothie bowl, and cherries are among my favorite fruits. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that I adore this recipe.   

It is a delightful way to begin the day, in addition to being invigorating and refreshing. Alternately, it is an excellent way to pick yourself up in the afternoon.  

– 1 cup unsweetened tart cherry juice, chilled – 1 cup packed baby spinach – 3/4 cup plain 2% reduced-fat strained yogurt – 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted – 3/4 cup unsweetened frozen mixed berrie – 2 tablespoons chia seed – 1 1/4 cups fresh mixed berrie


Using a blender, combine the juice, spinach, yogurt, avocado, and frozen berries. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth.  


Place chia seeds and fresh berries on top of the mixture after dividing it between two bowls. Serve as soon as possible.
