Course Breakfast Cuisine American Prep Time 5 minutes minute

Chill Time 1 hour hour Total Time 1 hour hour 5 minutes minute

4 ounces almond milk 2 tablespoons Chia seed 2 teaspoons sweetener optional (I use sugar free vanilla syrup) 3 ounces blackberries fresh (about 10)

INGREDIENTS

Combine the almond milk, chia seeds, and sweetener (if using) in a small bowl or container. Get the chia seeds thoroughly wet by stirring them. Wait 2–3 minutes before serving.

INSTRUCTIONS

Mash the blackberries slightly in a separate small container. Mash them while you add them to the chia mixture if that's more your style. (if desired, set aside a couple for garnish)

After a few minutes, the chia seeds will have dropped to the bottom of a glass jar. In order to disperse the chia seeds uniformly throughout the liquid, break up any clumps in the mixture by stirring it.

Toss in the blackberries with the chia seeds and mix well. Before serving, garnish with the saved blackberries.

Put the mixture in the fridge and let it sit for at least one hour, or perhaps overnight.

Just whisk the chia pudding until it's time to eat. At that point, it will be thick and edible.
